Description
Sometimes it’s obvious that a team has a problem. It shows up in behaviours like unresolved conflict, verbal team members falling silent, silos and cliques and workload imbalance. In this course, people managers will be able to identify root causes of dysfunction, gain insight into ways to correct a dysfunctional team and invest in their own interpersonal and managerial skills to support their team members effectively. The course will help you to build trust, manage conflict and set goals collaboratively. This is especially important for new people managers who are inheriting a disengaged team or those who are settling into a new role. Gain the insights, tools and techniques to create a high-performing team.
Topics Include:
- The major causes of dysfunction in a team.
- How to evaluate leadership influence (if any) on the team’s dysfunction.
- The steps to resolve team dysfunctions.
