For iOS Users: 

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad 
  2. Search for Blackboard Learn
  3. Tap "Get" to download and install the app
  4. Add "CPA Ontario" as the "school/workspace name"
  5. Click "Continue with Web-Login"
  6. Login using your CPA Ontario ID and password

FAQs

Q: Are all the CPA Ontario on demand courses available on the new app?  

A. Most of our CPA Ontario's 450+ on-demand courses are compatible with the mobile app. If any content does not display optimally in the app, instructions will be provided for viewing it in a mobile or desktop browser within the course. 

Q. Can I still use the desktop/laptop version of Blackboard on my web browser?

A. Yes! You can use both the web browser (on your PC or mobile) and app versions of Blackboard interchangeably to suit your learning needs.

Q. How do I log in to the Blackboard Learn app?

A. Simply download the app on your device, add CPA Ontario as the school/workspace name, and click Continue with Web-Login. Use your CPA Ontario ID and password to log into your account.

Q. Is the Blackboard Learn app free?

A. Yes! The app is completely free to download from the App Store to make learning on the go easier.

Q. Will I still get my CPD confirmation if I complete the course on the Blackboard Learn app?

A. Yes. You will still receive an email with your confirmation of course completion after you have completed the course as usual.

Q. Will this work on a tablet?

A. This will work on any device that is compatible with the Blackboard Learn app. Check your app store for details.

Q. Can I buy CPA Ontario PD on demand courses or complete my other CPA Ontario requirements on this app?

A. No, this app is used for consuming your CPA Ontario on demand PD learning only. For purchasing courses, you need to go to our PD portal. For your other CPA Ontario requirements learn more on our main site.
