Philippe Achkar currently serves as the Director of Expertise and Solutions within the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)’s Advisory Services practice. He oversees the evolution of BDC’s offerings across traditional business functions, as well as emerging topics such as artificial intelligence, industrial automation and sustainability, helping Canadian SMEs drive growth and productivity while strengthening their resilience to the significant challenges of our times. Philippe’s diverse background includes strategic roles in the aviation and aerospace sector, focused on market penetration strategies across emerging markets, as well as public policy roles focused on business taxation, foreign direct investment attraction and the integration of goods, products and produce from emerging economies in global value chains. |
