Business acumen is a general term that captures a handful of specific ideas. Also called business savvy or business sense or even just getting it, this term captures general business knowledge, plus insightful application of that knowledge.
Someone with strong business acumen obtains key information to build an effective plan to achieve core objectives. This course will be an overview of business acumen definitions and importance, key components of business acumen and strategies for building business acumen in an accounting firm.
