Description
This course is the second phase of a three-part Career Skills Program entiled ‘Investing In Your Career’. This phase is designed for CPA students in months 6-12 of their practical experience.
This second phase focuses on developing key skills for CPA students across several areas. It explores the connection between professional skepticism and critical thinking, emphasizing the importance of objectivity and mitigating cognitive biases. In terms of business acumen, students will gain an understanding of a CPAs role across industries. Additionally, the program will teach students to create and analyze PivotTables and PivotCharts, use conditional formatting and intermediate Excel functions.
There will be a series of live in-person workshops and self-paced learning designed to help CPA students invest in their career and add value to their organization and stakeholders.
