Description
This symposium will cover two key themes: ‘Ethics in the Workplace’ and ‘Strengthening Skills to Respond to Unethical Requests at Work’.
The Ethics in the Workplace session will explore the research and relevant business examples that demonstrates that despite our best intentions and conviction to our values, our actions in times of conflict may not be what we expect.
The Strengthening Skills to Respond to Unethical Requests at Work session will use the Giving Voice to Values (GVV) framework to explore strategies for addressing unethical requests at work. Participants will gain a thorough understanding or refresh their knowledge of the GVV approach and learn how to apply its techniques to potential ethical dilemmas. We will focus on brainstorming and discussing methods to develop a strategic defense plan.
