Learn, Network, and Cheer on the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Colorado Avalanche on March 19, 2025.
This learning and networking package includes live learning - AI Tools and Strategies for Accountants course. This course focuses on AI tools and techniques that are transforming the accounting profession. It discusses developments that will allow a practice to function more efficiently. AI technology provides numerous benefits for accountants, from automated data entry and improved client communication through to predictive analytics, compliance monitoring, tax preparation, and risk management. It even assists with tedious tasks like summarizing meetings, managing calendars, and performing sentiment analysis to improve relationships with customers and staff members. As organizations adopt AI, it becomes imperative that accounting firms, large and small, keep pace. Other topics include ethical and legal considerations, developing an AI-friendly culture, best practices, case studies and industry/regulatory standards. The session is delivered in clear, non-technical language.
CPA Ontario will host you in a private box which includes a buffet dinner and an assigned seat, with a cash bar. Someone from the PD Learning Team will be in touch with you closer to the session date with more logistical details and your ticket to the game. We do not have a ticket only option for this event.
NOTE: Before registering it’s important to understand that this is an in-person event and will be held at the Vantage Venues office at 150 King St. W. in Toronto, Ontario. You must attend in person to participate, there will not be an option to join this session virtually. After the session, you will be invited to join fellow CPAs in this course at Scotiabank Arena to see the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Colorado Avalanche.

Steve Prentice is a seasoned speaker and expert in the area of people, technology and work. He has delivered a number of classes to CPA members including time management, project management, and blockchain. He consults to organizations worldwide and is teaches regularly at Ontario Tech University. He does a lot of work in the cybersecurity field as a researcher and consultant but also as co-host of the Cybersecurity Headlines podcast, the Thales Security Sessions podcast, and a writer for a number of security-related organizations.
