Description
This interactive course is based on HIVE-X Governance Intelligence Framework and explores how accounting and finance professionals can apply professional judgment to complex governance decisions involving financial information, internal controls, risk, ethics, stakeholders and organizational value. Participants will apply governance and professional judgment skills in a realistic scenario, and by examining how governance extends beyond compliance and analyzing stakeholder interests, risks, financial integrity, and decision-making considerations, participants strengthen their ability to assess complex issues, communicate insights effectively, and evaluate the potential consequences of business decisions they encounter in their day-to-day professional roles.
The course directly aligns with CPA responsibilities within the areas such as professional judgment, internal controls, risk management, financial integrity, governance, ethics and strategic decision support and deepen their understanding of how to contribute to better decision-making by integrating financial and non-financial information, identifying governance indicators, assessing risk and financial integrity considerations, and translating decisions into accountable action.
