Join us for our Business Partnership, Storytelling and Influencing live in person seminar at our 69 Bloor East Office and then spend the evening at the Toronto Maple Leafs vs New York Rangers for networking at the Scotiabank Arena. CPA Ontario will host you in a private box which includes a buffet dinner and a seat, with a cash bar.
A member of the PD Learning Team will be in touch with you a couple of days before the game with more logistical details and your digital only ticket to the game.
AI Tools and Strategies for Accountants:
This course focuses on AI tools and techniques that are transforming the accounting profession. It discusses developments that will allow a practice to function more efficiently. AI technology provides numerous benefits for accountants, from automated data entry and improved client communication through to predictive analytics, compliance monitoring, tax preparation, and risk management. It even assists with tedious tasks like summarizing meetings, managing calendars, and performing sentiment analysis to improve relationships with customers and staff members. As organizations adopt AI, it becomes imperative that accounting firms, large and small, keep pace. Other topics include ethical and legal considerations, developing an AI-friendly culture, best practices, case studies and industry/regulatory standards. The session is delivered in clear, non-technical language.

Directions to CPA Ontario office is on Bloor, about a half block east of Yonge Street. Closest Transit stop is Yonge/Bloor. There is no parking in our building, but there are public lots within walking distance. If you drive, you will need to pay your own parking).

Steve Prentice is a seasoned speaker and expert in the area of people, technology and work. He has delivered a number of classes to CPA members including time management, project management, and blockchain. He consults to organizations worldwide and is teaches regularly at Ontario Tech University. He does a lot of work in the cybersecurity field as a researcher and consultant but also as co-host of the Cybersecurity Headlines podcast, the Thales Security Sessions podcast, and a writer for a number of security-related organizations.
