Participants will receive a concise update on new and pending sections of the PSA Handbook and their relationship to existing standards. Participants will also examine current PSAB projects and emerging public sector issues through examples that support practical application.

- Proposed PS 3155 - Intangible Assets and cloud computing arrangements guidelines project.

Melanie Joseph CPA, CA has over 20 years of experience working with private and public sector entities. She obtained her Masters in Accountancy from the University of Waterloo and currently works as a Principal in Grant Thornton LLP’s National Accounting Standards group. Melanie develops publications and training courses for her firm and works with clients dealing with complex accounting matters. She is also an active member of a number of accounting advisory groups including CPA Canada’s Private Enterprise Advisory Committee.
