In our Joint CPA Ontario Association Economic Update, Tiago Figueiredo - a macro strategist at Desjardins Capital Markets - returns to examine the latest economic developments. Understanding underlying macro trends can equip decision makers with the information needed to plan with more confidence. You'll get Mr. Figueiredo's analysis of current trends and what he expects in the months ahead. Tiago Figueiredo is a macro strategist, part of the Desjardins macro strategy team based in Toronto. He has been with Desjardins for 3 years. Previously, he worked as a cross-asset analyst at the Bank of Canada, where he was responsible for briefing department heads on market developments. He holds a Masters in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo.
