This course examines how technology can increase the efficiency, coverage, and insight of internal audits. Participants will explore data analytics, automated testing, continuous monitoring, technology-assisted risk assessment, exception analysis, digital evidence, and audit tools used during planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up. The session also considers data quality, governance, and how technology can help identify unusual patterns, control weaknesses, and emerging risks.
