Participants will receive a concise update on recently approved and proposed changes to the CPA Canada Handbook – Assurance that affect audit engagements. Participants will also examine current AASB/IAASB projects and practice inspection themes to identify impacts on planning, execution, and reporting.
Topics include:
- Recently revised standards relevant to audits.
- Current exposure drafts and projects in progress.
- Practice matters and inspection highlights, including observations related to CAS and quality management.
- AASB and IAASB active projects and implementation considerations.
