Description
This comprehensive certificate program is designed to enhance your knowledge of financial intelligence, financial planning and reporting best practices and gain a strong appreciation of what organizations expect from Controllers and Finance Directors. The program seamlessly interweaves soft skills with critical technical skills that will prepare participants to meet the many challenges that are unique to the controllership function.
During this program, participants will:
- Understand the current expectations of a controllership role.
- Identify the evolving role of a management accountant and the future of controllership.
- Keep up to date on emerging trends and best practices in financial intelligence, planning and oversight functions.
- Build important leadership skills to inspire teams and be recognized as trusted strategic business partners.
Participants who complete the program are eligible to write an optional certificate exam included in the course. The exam is not mandatory, and Digital Badges will be awarded only to those who successfully complete the exam. CPD hours will be granted whether participants complete the exam or not.

How to Access the Course
This CPA Ontario course is a live virtual certificate program delivered over six, half-day sessions. We recommend you join five minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of each session. Recordings of all sessions will be available to all registrants.
