Description
Introduces new thinking of teaching accounting to non-accountants in the work place and with clients. This framework has been developed through literature reviews, seminar leader's research/observations and numerous interviews.
Participants will be able to develop customized teaching content and approach for any of three non-accounting audiences:
- Entry level (Typically doing administrative tasks with some budget involvement)
- Mid management (Risen through the ranks on the technical side and currently find themselves in a management role with budget responsibilities)
- Senior management (Senior role in a non-accounting function, i.e. human resources, marketing, operations, etc.) Participants may also find this helpful if they wish to part-time teach accounting at a university or college. All participants will receive a customizable e-copy of a paper-based-simulation game
How to Access the Course
This course is delivered as a live webinar. To receive verifiable CPD hours, you must attend the session live. We recommend joining at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. For the best interactive experience, please use a computer equipped with a camera and microphone.

Franco (Frank) Saccucci is a tenured faculty member at Macewan University (Edmonton) and an adjunct lecturer in Executive Education at the University of Alberta. Franco is a published author who has delivered presentations in Canada, U.S & Europe. He developed seminar content on “Finance for the Nonfinancial Manager” and has delivered this seminar to numerous corporations over the past two decades.
