Description
This course introduces CPAs to the expanding landscape of Generative AI (GenAI) tools across five core modalities: text, audio, image, video, and code. Participants will explore the foundational concepts of GenAI, compare its capabilities to traditional AI, and learn how to assess the cost-benefit of using GenAI. The course also introduces Task Amplification Categories (TACs) to help learners identify where GenAI can meaningfully support their workflows. Through hands-on exploration of tool-specific use cases and prompt engineering techniques, learners will gain practical skills to integrate GenAI into their daily work with confidence and clarity.
Topics Covered:
- Overview and key concepts
- Business case of GenAI vs Classic AI
- Assessing cost-benefit of prompts; using the “amplification not abdication” model
- Intro and analysis of task amplification categories (TACs); linking GenAI to your pain points
- Introduction to prompt engineering
- Components of a prompt
- Tool overview (e.g. text, audio, image, video, code)
Key Takeaways
Upon completing this course, learners will:
- Gain exposure to leading GenAI tools tailored to specific functions.
- Understand the anatomy of a prompt.
- Assess when and how to use GenAI responsibly.
Who Will Benefit
CPAs or finance professionals who want to upgrade their skills and knowledge in prompt engineering and appreciate how GenAI can “amplify” efforts within their workflows.
