Description
Negotiation is a method by which people settle differences. It is a process by which compromise or agreement is reached while avoiding argument. This seminar will leave participants with contract, project, resource and interdepartmental negotiation strategies for success. The workshop combines planning, preparation and face-to-face skills and is designed to maximize outcomes in high-stakes negotiations, particularly where protecting the relationship is important. The core capabilities are explored including handling resistance. This is a very interactive workshop with hands-on simulations. Participants will be able to analyze negotiation situations, select the appropriate strategies and tactics and use them effectively.

- Planning your negotiation strategies in advance of important discussions.
- Delivering your messages firmly, clearly and effectively.
- Keeping the lines of communication open during an important negotiation.
