Manage the risk of a loan by using security.
In this CPA Ontario course, you will build credit analyst skills by discussing different types of security including General Security Agreement (GSA), guarantees, fixed charge and floating charge security, as well as various types of assets used as collateral.
You will explore how to evaluate the quality of the security. You will look at a real-world example for each type of security and demonstrate how to identify the best security for the loan application. The role of legal counsel and security registration and documentation will also be discussed.
