This five-part course bundle contains courses that cover ethics relating to IFRS, the process for developing accounting policies and drafting note disclosure using IFRS. It will also cover disclosure and financial statement presentation standards and IFRS standards that apply to most profit-oriented entities. Please review the list of updated course(s) that have been added to this bundle.
Course Details:
- IFRS: Ethical Decision Making 2024 (recently added) - This course helps participants to develop skills for making ethical decisions when deciding on accounting policies for measurement, presentation and disclosure using IFRS standards.
- IFRS: Developing Accounting Policies and Drafting Note Disclosure - The focus of this course is on the process of developing accounting policies and drafting note disclosure not on explaining the requirements within the standards for accounting policies and note disclosure.
- IFRS: Disclosure and Presentation - This course is offered to provide participants with an up-to-date review of the disclosure and financial statement presentation standards. In addition, areas to watch out for are highlighted based on reviews by users and regulatory bodies. Up to date sample notes and financial statements are also provided to assist with enhancing participants' knowledge in this area. Exercises are used to enhance learning of topics.
- IFRS: Review of the Standards - This course will cover all of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) incorporated as part of CPA Canada Handbook – Accounting – Part I. The focus is on the IFRS standards that apply to most profit-oriented entities.
- IFRS: The Essentials - This course will cover the essentials of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) but not all of the technical details required for implementation. The course provides a brief discussion on the types of entities using IFRS, impact on development of ASPE, discusses key concepts, examines the conceptual framework, provides a description of IFRS terminology, reviews the basics of IFRS financial statements.
Who Will Benefit
CPAs and other professionals who work in financial reporting and related areas using IFRS. Also appropriate for Board members of companies using IFRS standards.
