Pivot Tables built with Power Pivot and the Data Model are the future of Excel reporting. This course explores the concept of a DATA MODEL that is built into Excel since version 2013 and how it makes Pivot Tables so much more powerful. The course introduces the powerful POWER PIVOT capability and how Power Pivot can construct a complex data model. It also includes the new features that Pivot Tables will gain when used with the Data Model and Power Pivot.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Construct Pivot Tables from a Data Model
- Use special features of Pivot Tables constructed from a Data Model
- Combine data sets into a useful Data Model through Power Pivot
- Pull data from multiple tables into one Pivot Table
- Understand the rules of building relationships between tables of data
- Gain an understanding of Power Pivot and core concepts as a springboard to advanced techniques

Anyone who works with multiple data sets and data sources and needs to build Pivot Tables and complex reports by combining all these data sets into coherent and error-free reports. Suitable for anyone who has a working knowledge of Pivot Tables.
