In this course, you will learn how to build a three-statement financial model from scratch in Excel from a step by step video.
Constructing and balancing three-statement financial models is a critical skill for many roles in accounting and finance. An income statement, cash flow statement and balance sheet helps assess the financial health of a business. Connecting the balance sheet correctly adds an error detection system to highlight issues with the financial model.
This course also discusses the importance of designing a well-structured model and financial modelling best practices. You will learn how to structure the model, as well as how to build a forecast income statement, a forecast balance sheet and a forecast cash flow statement. You will also review and audit the model to ensure accuracy and consistency.
