Description
This three-part course bundle covers ethics relating to ASNFPO as well as accounting policies, note disclosure and disclosure and presentation. Please review the list of updated courses below, if you have previously taken this bundle in 2022 - 2023.
Course Details:
- ASNFPOs: Ethical Decision Making: 2023 (updated) - Adherence to the CPA Code of Professional Conduct is an important foundation of our profession. While stakeholders rely on an accountant's judgment and guidance in preparing financial statements, ethical dilemmas can create challenges in selecting the appropriate accounting policy to apply when there are choices, determining estimates and making judgements when applying the standards.
- ASNFPO: Developing Accounting Policies and Drafting Note Disclosure (updated) - The focus of this course is on the process of developing accounting policies and drafting note disclosure not on explaining the requirements within the standards for accounting policies and note disclosure. Participants will have the opportunity to review a number of exercises and cases.
- ASNFPO: Disclosure and Presentation - Organizations that operate in the not-for-profit sector are developing new operational models, increasing in complexity and are seeing an increasing need by financial statement users for transparency and comprehensive information. This course is meant to equip participants with the tools to identify and apply the accounting standards that are most commonly encountered by Not-for-Profit Organizations.
Who Will Benefit
CPAs and other professionals who work in financial reporting and related areas using ASPE (where relevant NPOs) and ASNFPO.
