Description
The Whistleblower Program is a critical resource for the Ontario Securities Commission in the enforcement of Ontario securities laws. In this video from the December 2024 Ethics Conference, André and Daniel will discuss key elements of the program, and the mechanisms designed to protect whistleblowers and award them for coming forward to the OSC with timely, specific and credible tips of misconduct. We will illustrate the important public service role whistleblowers have by discussing situations where whistleblower tips significantly impact our investigations of suspected breaches of Ontario securities laws.
