Description
The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) released the first two global sustainability standards in June 2023 on climate-related and sustainability disclosures. All CPAs and finance professionals in Canada need to be aware of these standards as they can directly or indirectly impact finance, reporting, assurance and advisory roles. Journey with us by participating in the Sustainability Symposium Series as we equip you with the knowledge you need to navigate the road ahead, demystify the new standards and provide you with the tools to help you comply and assess your readiness for the effective date of January 1st, 2024.
This Sustainability Symposium Video Series aims to promote the criticality of corporate integrity and robust internal controls in the face of mandatory Sustainability reporting. The symposium will also feature a discussion on capacity building for small and medium-sized companies.
The content is relevant for you whether you are curious about the new ESG reporting standards or will be directly responsible or accountable for complying with these standards by January 1st, 2024.
