Having a diverse team offers a key to stronger organizational problem-solving and agility and can improve profitability. It's also the right thing to do. But achieving a diverse team isn't as simple as not discriminating in hiring; it takes conscientious management, an openness to people from different cultures and experiences, as well as the active encouragement of participation.
