David Frum is a Canadian-American political commentator, staff writer at The Atlantic and the author of ten books, including the New York Times bestseller The Right Man. Frum has been active in Republican politics since the Reagan campaign of 1980 and served as a speechwriter and special assistant to President George W. Bush. He holds a BA and MA in history from Yale and a law degree from Harvard. Frum has also chaired the board of trustees for the UK think tank Policy Exchange. He lives in Washington DC and Wellington, Ontario, with his wife, Danielle Crittenden Frum, and they have three adult children. | |
Rudyard Griffiths is an accomplished public speaker who has provided keynotes, fireside chats, and participated in panel discussions for major financial institutions, industry associations, and community groups in Canada. He is the organizer and moderator of the Munk Debates, a leading public debating forum. Griffiths is a commentator on Canadian cultural issues, national politics, and international affairs, and advises various not-for-profit organizations in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. He authored Who We Are: A Citizen’s Manifesto, a Globe and Mail best book of the year, and has edited essays on political and historical themes. His media roles include anchoring Bloomberg North for Bloomberg TV Canada, hosting the Next Debate series for The Globe and Mail, and co-anchoring NATIONAL AFFAIRS on CTV News Channel. Griffiths began his media career as co-host of Squeeze Play on BNN. |
