This course bundle will prepare CPAs for leadership roles in public sector organizations. It is divided into three main areas: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Governance and Internal Control.

The KPI section of the course provides a step-by-step approach to using KPIs to improve the performance in public sector organizations. Topics of discussion will include KPIs and the professional accountant, internal audit and management, public sector dilemmas, financial and non-financial KPIs, development and implementation process and a case study.

In the governance section, you will be guided through the evolution of public sector governance, global trends, international principles and practical guidance on governance best practices using real life examples.

The internal control part of the course will help you to evaluate and improve internal control systems in any organization. You will receive updates on internal control standards and frameworks, and explore key topics including fraud prevention, COSO, Canadian auditing standards and assertions, and practice inspection findings on internal control evaluation in Canada.

There will be a final quiz to test your knowledge at the end of the course.
