This course uses case studies and recent events to examine the application of the CPA Code of Professional Conduct. Relevant research studies will be introduced to help understand key factors that influence how we makes ethical decisions as an organization, a team, or an individual. With rapid advancements in technology, the course includes an examination of how artificial intelligence (AI) will impact our professional judgement and decision making.
A brief history of ethics in the CPA profession guides members into the topic, and sheds light on the return on investment in applying an ethical mindset in all workplace practices.
The course covers common ethical dilemmas that occur in the CPA profession, that many professionals can also identify with. Using a step-by-step framework, you will be guided through the process of addressing complex situations, and how to consider all possible scenarios before making decisions.
There will be a final quiz to test your knowledge at the end of the course.
