Description
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing many industries today, offering efficiency, predictive capabilities, and automation. For chartered accountants and finance professionals in small and medium enterprises, embracing AI can lead to transformative business benefits. However, using AI also raises critical ethical and legal questions that require careful consideration. AI impacts on CPAS include privacy and security, explainability of decisions, and financial data quality and integrity. Additionally, there will be impacts on the workforce of AI – ranging from job redundancy concerns to the evolution of the right skill sets, to over-reliance on AI.
This presentation from the December Ethics conference will provide a practical exploration of the ethical implications of AI relevant to CPAs.
The course will cover critical topics such as:
- Data Privacy
- Algorithmic Bias
- Transparency
- Accountability
- Learning how to navigate these challenges while maintaining professional trust and compliance.
