Moniz, Manager of the Office of the Whistleblower in the Enforcement Division of the Ontario Securities Commission Topic: The Ontario Securities Commission Whistleblower Program: The Importance of Speaking Up to Stop Misconduct and Investor Harm The Whistleblower Program is a critical resource for the Ontario Securities Commission in the enforcement of Ontario securities laws. Jay Goodis, CPA, CA, is CEO of Tax Templates Inc. He was recognized as an emerging leader by CPA Ontario in 2018 for his contributions to the CPA profession. Jay specialized in tax at both a national and a mid-market accounting firm where he completed tax planning and compliance for individuals, trusts, and private corporations. In public practice, he also led the rebuild of many internal operations leading to significant efficiencies, time savings, and superior recoveries. | |
Ken Lewchuk, MBA, MA, CPA, CPA (Texas), develops and facilitates courses on the topics of business ethics, accounting ethics and the ethics of artificial intelligence. His career has spanned public accounting, technical accounting, corporate finance and assurance for corporations in the United States and Canada. He has taught technical accounting and finance classes in several countries, been a conference speaker, and guest lecturer at Texas A&M University on the topic of business ethics. | |

Constantine’s practice is focused exclusively on privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. André Moniz is a lawyer and the Manager of the Office of the Whistleblower, based in the Enforcement Division of the Ontario Securities Commission. He has spent over twenty years with the Commission’s Enforcement Branch investigating a variety of misconduct in various roles. These investigations ranged from complex, high-profile matters involving large, public issuers and registrants to more discreet matters involving private entities and unregistered individuals. |

Daniel Tourangeau is a Case Lead and Senior Forensic Accountant in the Enforcement Division of the Ontario Securities Commission. He is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, FCA), holds a master’s degree in forensic accounting (MFAcc) from the University of Toronto, and has worked exclusively in the forensic accounting profession for the last 17 years. He is also a Sessional Instructor in the Master of Forensic Accounting program at the University of Toronto. | |
Lisa Dorian, MSL, CPA,CA, CPA (IL), CIA, CRMSA, co-founder of Corporate Finance Institute, is a skilled business executive with extensive experience in ethics, compliance, and risk as well as business process and strategy. She has worked with a variety of boards and leadership teams of organizations in both the private and public sector to help implement award winning enterprise risk management frameworks and compliance frameworks. She has authored many internal policies, including codes of conduct. As well as serving in the C-Suite in finance, risk, and internal audit departments, she has also conducted quality assessment reviews of internal audit departments in the public sector and for financial institutions. | |

Amanda Abraham is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA) and CPA Ontario. After qualifying in 2015, Amanda worked at professional services firms including PwC, BCG and Grant Thornton in internal and client-facing learning and development roles. Her areas of facilitation included financial reporting with a focus on IFRS and governance and ethics. She joined CPA Ontario in 2023 as the Product Development Officer within the professional development department and leverages her knowledge of the profession to build high-quality technical and professional programs for members. |
