This two-hour course is designed with the Word power-user in mind. It leverages document outlines to structure and format entire documents, and easily perform tasks like auto-numbering of paragraphs, table of contents and autoformats. Through techniques such as fields, combined with new features like Quick Parts, it can take the frustration out of managing long documents like agreements, thesis, proposals, reports and more.

• A knowledge of how outlines control and facilitate key tasks in Word.
• An awareness of some of the little-known productivity features for modifying and editing documents.
• An understanding of how data is dynamically exchanged between Microsoft Excel and Word through object and data linking.

• Learn how to use Styles to create and outline which can then drive the document format, the paragraph numbering, the table of contents, and more.

• Learn some key document fields to create section headers that auto-populate, document properties that update, and more.
• Learn some keyboard shortcuts for productivity and quality enhancement, and explore some Find and Replace tricks that go beyond the ordinary to help quickly modify content and formatting in a document.
