Formerly - Negotiation Skills: You Don't Get What You Deserve, You Get What You Negotiate!
This newly revised course has shifted online into two, half-day, live, instructor-led sessions. We recognize that online learning a vastly different experience from an in-person seminar and our instructors have adapted the interactive sessions to include regularly scheduled breaks and digital breakout rooms for group discussions. Our goal is to make your experience more convenient as we navigate the new reality of virtual learning.

Negotiation is a method by which people settle differences. It is a process by which compromise or agreement is reached while avoiding argument. This seminar will leave participants with contract, project, resource and interdepartmental negotiation strategies for success. The workshop combines planning, preparation and face-to-face skills and is designed to maximize outcomes in high-stakes negotiations, particularly where protecting the relationship is important. The core capabilities are explored including handling resistance. This is a very interactive workshop with hands-on simulations. Participants will be able to analyze negotiation situations, select the appropriate strategies and tactics and use them effectively.

- Planning your negotiation strategies in advance of important discussions
- Delivering your messages firmly, clearly and effectively
- Keeping the lines of communication open during an important negotiation

This seminar is designed for anyone who desires greater confidence and ability in managing tension and dealing with tactics during a negotiation.

This course is a live webinar. You must attend the live course to receive verifiable CPD hours. We recommend you join five minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. To get the full experience of this interactive course, use a computer that has video and microphone capabilities.
